Despite the predictions for early morning rain, I met up with Christian Weaver at 6am this morning and headed to the Dogwood Crag in Big Cottonwood Canyon to take another swing at Little Creatures (5.11b/c).
In this humble video we tested out our new GoPro Hero 4 Black along with some fun attachments that allow us to capture some fun angles while climbing. Looking forward to using these new tools for future video.
We (Eli Kerr, Christian Weaver, and Benjamin Eaton) met at the mouth of American Fork Canyon at 5:30 am on a weekday to get in a few pitches before heading to work. We climbed at the Membrane wall and focused on getting pumped and climbing through it.

Raising your personal bar in climbing requires a bit of projecting to eventually redpoint hard routes that you desire to climb without falling. I used to laugh at all the climbers in Rifle that would eat, sleep, and breath that same route over and over and over till they got the send. They talked about their project as if they owned it. Projecting has never been my favorite part of climbing...but it is necessary.
